ANGELINA

PARK

location: ACCRA, GHANA
category: URBANISM
size: 120 000m2
year: 2018
role: PROJECT COORDINATOR

The Angelina Park Mixed Use Development is to occupy a large lush, densely vegetated 1437 Acre land parcel. The site is nestled against and forms part of the South Eastern region of the famous Aquapim Ridge.

The park attempts to rethink what is typically associated with the concept of amusement/theme parks. What makes Angelina Park an internationally unique facility is the fact that it makes use of unique qualities and personality that Ghana has to offer. More specifically the unique culture, fauna and flora.

The Angelina Park reserve acts as a catalyst that will hopefully encourage more habitat protection along the Akuapim Ridge. In future bordering land will be able to connect to Angelina Park and form a larger more sustainable reserve.
